Detailed Information

I’m Caitlin, an award-winning freelance copywriter for communities and organisations that care for others. I write about topics from baby care to aged care and all aspects of health and education in between.

You’re an organisation, brand or not-for-profit that cares about your customers and community. That’s why you need a copywriter who cares too.

What’s my background?

Since completing my Journalism degree at Charles Sturt University, I’ve worked as Editor for SheSaidSkype in the UK, was founding editor of doctorportal, frontpage editor for Yahoo7 and News Editor for 7News.

A few years ago, I decided to fulfill my dream of wearing ugg boots to work so I ditched the day job, pulled on the activewear, and set up my home office. I haven’t looked back!

What are my credentials?

I am a Freelance Pro member of the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance. It’s a trustmark that shows I’m a legitimate member of the working media.

I have completed Kate Toon’s Recipe for SEO Success course. I am also a member of the Australasian Medical Writers’ Association and of course Digital Marketing Collective. I have completed the How to Write Patient Education Materials course at Health Writer Hub.

In 2022, I was awarded Copywriter of the Year of the Clever Copywriting School. I stood out for my business smarts in growing my business – getting clear on my niche, building a strong client network, and working with clients who are aligned with my values.

What do I write?

I’ve been writing for websites for over 15 years, you could say I know a thing or two about communicating with people online.

I write anything from short blogs to medical-based news articles to copywriting entire websites and anything in between.

My digital editing experience means I know how to edit existing websites and make sure they speak to your ideal customer. I am experienced in creating a specific tone of voice and using it to write consistent copy across a website.
