For a long time, I felt ick about talking about the charities I support.
Accusations of virtue-signalling abound online and I wanted to avoid that, but equally, I think some don’t realise the variety of ways Stay Tooned supports others.

Hence this page here I’ll detail some of the charities we support and some of our fundraising efforts. If you’re looking to donate to a charity, we highly recommend giving to any of these wonderful causes.

Over 4.4 million people have fled Ukraine, and another 7.2 million are displaced in the country. Donations help Caritas staff on the ground to provide families with emergency food, water, shelter and hygiene support

CARITAS

Raised: $744 for Coast Shelter

Coast Shelter assists people experiencing homelessness and domestic and family violence, with the aim to break the cycle of poverty, and intergenerational despair and disadvantage. Working in a coffee shop to raise funds for Local Shelter.

Regular Charities

Rafiki Mwema works with children who have experienced the trauma of child abuse in early life. Their work is to remove the shame the children experience and return them to the experience of innocence. To reboot the safety and love they feel in relation to the outside world, so they can grow up to be balanced, loving adults, thereby breaking the cycle of abuse.
I donate 10% of Confessions of a Misfit Entrepreneur book sales to Rafiki, and a larger $5k supported them in building a new classroom(find pictures

Soi Dog improves the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, aiming to create a society without homeless animals, and to ultimately end animal cruelty.
I make monthly donations to Soi Dog.

Kiva’s mission is to expand financial access to help under-served communities thrive. They do this by crowdfunding loans and addressing barriers to financial access. Through their work, students pay for tuition, women start businesses, farmers invest in equipment and families afford needed emergency care.
We make regular loans to Kiva via the Clever Copywriting School

One Girl is a world where all girls have access to quality education. A world where all girls, no matter where they are born or how much money they have, enjoy the same rights and opportunities as boys. A world where every girl has the chance to be the best she can be. When you educate a girl, everything changes. All profits from CopyCon 2018 went to support One Girl.
